The New Zealand Defence Force had an offical opening for their new, state of the art, Battle Training Facility (BTF) on 8th April 2016 in Ardmore.

The multi-million dollar, modern purpose-built facility took two years to build and replaces outdated and obsolete training facilities for the Special Air Service (SAS) personnel in Papakura.

Southtec Systems Ltd is pleased to announce that their partner, Cubic Range Design Solutions (CRDS) has been responsible for the overall design and specialist fitout management of this state of the art facility.

Soldiers will now be able to conduct live firing exercises, as well as training using helicopters and in specific environments. The BTF will also be used by other government agencies with a specific security role.
